    Dr Ruiz: The PARTNER trial has shown that that TAVI is as good as traditional open heart surgery for high-risk， but operable patients at one year with the disadvantage of higher rates of major stroke and bleeding complications. The procedures viability for otherwise inoperable patients was also advantageous.
